The Israeli National Soccer Team, the first athletic group to represent the Jewish state in international competition, left for home today by air after a 33-day good-will visit to the United States. The players, all of them members of the Israeli Army who were granted special leaves to visit the U.S., played before crowds numbering 80,000 persons in New York and Philadelphia. All proceeds of the games they played went to the United Jewish Appeal. The Israelis will report for active military duty as soon as they land in Haifa.
