BUDAPEST (Nov. 23)
The Hungarian branch of the International Council of Christians and Jews decided today to determine whether any books now in circulation in this country–literary, religious or scientific are apt to encourage anti-Semitic sentiments.
The Council members announced that if any such books are discovered, steps will be taken with the authorities to bring about the necessary revisions. At the same time, the organization appointed four members to the executive of the International Council. Chief Rabbi Fabian Herskovits was among those named.
