Monument Honoring French Jewish Veterans Unveiled in Paris; Posthumous Awards Made

A monument honoring the memory of Jews killed while fighting for France was unveiled here today by Robert Betolaud, Minister of Veterans. At the same time, Defense Minister Paul Ramadier posthumously awarded 70 French Jewish veterans with the “Medaille Militatre.” Chief Rabbi I. Schwartz of France participated in the ceremonies.
