Monsignor Antonie Vergani, Catholic Vicar-General for Galilees, today called on Rabbi Ysacov Herzog, head of the Ministry of Religion’s Christian Communities Division.
Msgr. Vergani, who is the first responsible representative of the Catholic Church in Israel, thanked the Ministry for the cooperation the Catholic Church has received from the Ministry and expressed confidence that these relations will continue. He also informed the Ministry of a number of appointments made by the Church in Israel.
