Download PDF for this date

Thirty Jewish orphans have been transferred from an orphanage maintained by the Union of Jewish Communities and the Joint Distribution Committee to a former ORT installation near Tivoli which is now being run by the Youth Aliyah as a training school for farm life in Israel. The orphans, who are natives of Italy, will proceed to Israel after completing basic training in agriculture and Hebrew. The youths range in age from 15 to 17
