Congress Gets Bill Asking for Admission of European Orphans Outside of Quota

Rep, Jacob Javits, of New York, introduced a bill in Congress yesterday that would permit the entry of certain European orphans quota free, providing there were assurances that an American family was ready to adopt them and providing a “non-profit” organization would guarantee their support in this country.
