J.D.C. Leaders Mourn Death of Dr. Hyman; Warburg Stresses Loss to American Jewry

The death of Dr. Joseph C, Hyman, former executive vice-chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee, was mourned here today by members of the J.D.C. A statement issued by Edward M.M. Warburg, chairman of the organization, emphasized that “in the death of Dr. Hyman, the American Jewish community and Jews everywhere have lost a great leader, who was passionately devoted to the welters of the distressed and needy overseas.”
