The immigration of Europe’s Jewish refugees to Israel is one of the most significant factors in the resettlement program of the International Refugee Organization, a report released here today by that body revealed.
In a review of its accomplishments in the 18-month period ending Dec. 31, 1948, the I.R.O. summary noted that “the number of DP’s going to Israel in December was half the total number of refugees resettled in that month.”
