A total of 210 Jewish displaced persons and refugees from Czechoslovakia, Austria and Italy sailed from Naples aboard the S.S. Abbazzia last night en route to Israel. Most of the passengers came from Austria.
Meanwhile, a new representative body of displaced Jews, in Italy has begun to function here under the chairmanship of Joseph Almuli, a loader of the DP’s. The new group’s executive board represents the six major Zionist parties active among the Jewish DP’s.
