(In Tel Aviv today, a mass meeting under the auspices of the Heruth established an organization known as the International League for the Salvation of Jews in Arab Countries. The meeting decided to call on the U.N. Conciliation Commission to concern itself with the fate of these Jews and to demand that the Israeli Knesseth take some action to alleviate their situation.
