American Jewish Group Will Build $250,000 Home for Immigrant Women in Israel

A new home to accommodate young women immigrants between the ages of 17 and 25 will be built at Nathanya by the Women’s League for Israel, an organization of 4,000 women in the New York area, it was disclosed today. The home, which will cost $250,000, will have workshops and training facilities and will house 170 girls.

Announcement of the new project was made to Premier David Ben Gurion and Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan today when they received Mrs. William Prince, president of the League, and Mrs. David L. Isaacs, vice-president, following completion of their inspection of the group’s facilities in Israel.
