The Bulgarian Jewish Consistory, at a conference held in Sofia yesterday, decided to secede from the World Jewish Congress because of its “reactionary activities” and for its declining to Join the World Peace Congress held in Paris in April, press reports here said today.

A spokesman for the W.J.C. European headquarters told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that the Congress has not been notified of the reported decision.
