Jewish members of the South African Parliament today tendered a tea in the House of Assembly at Capetown in honor of Dr. Aron Syngalowsky, executive vice-president of the World ORT Union. The affair was attended by Dr. A.J. Stals; Minister of Education, Health and Social Welfare, and outstanding members of all parties.
Dr. Syngalowsky explained the position of the Jews in Europe, recent developments in Israel and tire ORT’s projected vocational training program in South Africa. Dr. Stals paid tribute to Dr. Syngalowsky and expressed appreciation of the ORT’s activities.
