The situation of Jews the world over has taken on “added dignity and meaning” as a result of the establishment of Israel, Rabbi Arthur Hertzberg of this city declared today at the sixth annual Institute of Race Relations at Fisk University. “While there will be no political connection between Israel and Jews in other countries, “Rabbi Hertzberg asserted, “there will be a tremendous religious and cultural bond.”
