Rabbi Mordecai Katz, dean of the Yeshiva of Telz here, will leave soon for Israel to organize a branch of the world-famed institution in the Jewish state, it was announced today. The decision to found a branch institution in Israel was taken at the recent annual meeting of the Alumni Association of the Yeshiva. It is planned to construct the new branch in Israel as a “living memorial to the great saints and sages of the Yeshiva who were martyred by Hitler.”
