The famous Jewish Free School in the East End district of London–where Israel Zangwill, Prof. Seling Brodetsky and other prominent British Jews received their early education–which was partially destroyed during the war, will not be rebuilt, it was announced here today.

The buildings will probably be used as offices and warehouses, the announcement said. Founded in 1817, the school at one time served 4,000 Jewish students and has been the educational inspiration of many prominent figures.
