Polish Government Grants $115,000 to Jewish Industrial Cooperatives in Lower Silesia

Two Jewish cooperatives in Lower Silesia–operating in the metal and chemical industries–have received a government subsidy of 23,000,000 zlotys, it was reported here. The grant–approximately $115,000 at the official exchange rate–will be used for improvement of services and the purchase of new machinery.
