Aubrey Eban, Israeli delegate to the United Nations, today formally notified the Security Council that he has been instructed by his government to make a brief statement on Dr. Bunche’s report. It is expected that he will express the concern of the Israeli Government over the possibility of lifting the arms embargo on the Middle East, which is expected to lead to a rearmament race between Israel and the Arab countries.
