The first meeting between Israeli and Arab delegates to the United Nations Conciliation Commission here will take place tomorrow. A technical committee to deal with the question of frozen Arab fund in Israeli banks has been set up, consisting of Zalman Lifshitz for Israel, a member of the Egyptian delegation and members of the commission.
The Conciliation Commission will continue its work here until the United Nations Assembly meets in Lake Success. It appears less certain that an American proposal to move the meeting to New York in aid-September will be accepted by the Commission. Members also expressed doubt that Paul A. Porter, American representative on the Commission, will return to Lausanne before Washington will have clarified its policy on the McGhee Plan, which provides for the rehabilitation of the Near East and the resettlement of Palestine Arab refugees, under development projects sponsored by the United States.
