The American Committee of Jewish Writers, Artists and Scientists, in a memorandum submitted to U.N. Secretary-General Trygve Lie, charged today that a report presented to the U.N. by the American Jewish League Against Communism — alleging that 400,000 Jews had been deported by the Soviet Government to Siberia — was “fantastic”.
