Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Morgenthau Jr., wife of the general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal who died on Wednesday, were held here today at Temple Emanu-El. Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt delivered the eulogy.
Messages of condolence were received by Mr. Morgenthau from President Truman, members of the Cabinet and other high government officials and prominent figured in the U.S. Similar messages were sent to the U.J.A. general chairman from officials of the Israel Government and Jewish leaders in this country.
