James G. McDonald, United States Ambassador to Israel who spent several weeks here recently, returned to his post in Tel Aviv today aboard the Queen Mary. Israel Ambassador to the U.S. Eliahu Elath tendered a luncheon in honor of Mr. McDonald in Washington yesterday. George C. McGhee, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, was one of the speakers at the luncheon.
