Sentences ranging from 20 years at hard labor to 5 years imprisonment were meted out to nine former members of a special wartime pre-Nazi police force, it was announced here today. The defendants, seven men and two women, were found guilty of unjustly imprisoning and torturing a number of Jews and other persons.
