The General Council of the International Refuges Organization yesterday heard Maj. Gen. Frederick G. Galleghan of Australia, chairman of the Council, express to the Government of Israel “the appreciation of the Council and the I.R.O. administration for the generous contribution made to the solution of the problem by acceptance of ‘hard-core’ cases.” Mr. Galleghan’s statement followed a declaration by Israel observer Dr. Shalom Adler-Rudel that Israel ultimately would admit all Jewish “hard-core” cases now in I.R.O. camps.
