Anti-semitic Outburst Results in Verdict of “guilty of Disorderly Conduct”

Andrew F. Bell, self-employed mechanical engineer of Marietta, Ohio, was found guilty of disorderly conduct and fined $25 in Magistrates Court today for anti-Semitic remarks made to Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Wittner of this city with whom he accidentally collided while walking in the street here.

According to Mr. and Mrs. Wittner, they accidentally bumped into Bell while walking on Irving Place in this city on Sept. 25. Bell responded, they charged, with punches and anti-Semitic epithets. He pleaded “not guilty.
