The Israel delegation to the Israel-Austrian trade talks here has proposed that Israel pay Austria for products bought partly in freely-convertible currency and partly transferring blocked Jewish accounts in Austria, it was learned today. It is expected that the blocked accounts will be used to pay for about one-third of all Austrian exports to the Jewish state.

The Austrian delegation promised to submit a favorable report on the proposal to the Austrian National Bank and the Finance Ministry. The Israelis also suggested a trial arrangement on this basis for six months. The talks have been suspended until November 3 because the chief of the Israel delegation, Dr. M. Schamir, must visit Warsaw this week.
