Prof. Einstein Will Address National Conference of United Jewish Appeal over Radio

Dr. Albert Einstein will deliver one of the principal addresses at the National Conference of the United Jewish Appeal which will meet in Atlantic City at the end of this month, it was announced today. He will speak to the 1,200 Jewish communal leaders assembled at the U.J.A. conference by means of the radio which will also broadcast his address to the entire country over a coast-to-coast hook-up.

The Conference, which will open on Friday, Nov. 25, has been called to draw up plans for the 1950 campaign of the United Jewish Appeal, through which the Jewish communities of the United States will aid in the immigration, settlement and development of Israel, in the relief and reconstruction of Jewish communities in Europe and North Africa, and in the absorption and adjustment of refugees reaching the United States.
