An Israel naval squadron returned to its base today after a 3,750-mile patrol in Mediterranean waters as part of winter maneuvers. The patrol required a fortnight and covered the entire coastline of Cyrenaica, Crete, Greece, Italy, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Southern France, Spain, Algeria and Tunisia, being the most extensive training cruise since the Israel naval force was organized two years ago.
