The National Assembly yesterday discussed the report of the parliamentary committee sent to Bavaria recently to investigate the desecration of the mass graves at Dachau, former Nazi extermination center.
The commission was sent to the site after it was reported that bones of the victims had been employed for industrial purposes. Deputies from the extreme right to the extreme left joined in censuring local Bavarian Government officials for its attitude and negligence.
All the speakers urged internationalization of the Dachau camp grounds and punishment of those found responsible for the mutilation of the graves. Since Nov. 21, the Bavarian authorities themselves have been made responsible for their care.
