The Greek Government today notified Israel that two Israel Spitfires which have been held by the Athens authorities for nearly two years on the island of Rhodes, after they made forced landings, have been released and may now be taken over by the Tel Aviv authorities. Release of the aircraft follows a number of requests made by Israel to the Greek Government for freeing the planes.
