Brotherhood Week Opens This Week-end; $3,500,000 Budgeted for Year-round Activities

The annual observance of Brotherhood Week will start throughout the country this weekend under the chairmanship of former Secretary of the Navy John L. Sullivan, it was announced here today by the National Conference of Christians and Jews. Brotherhood Week has been endorsed by President Truman.

The sum of $3,500,000 has been budgeted by the National Conference of Christians and Jews in order to carry forward this year the principles of of Brotherhood Week in an expanded year-round program, Dr. Everett R. Clinchy, president of the Conference, stated today.
