The week of March 5-10 has been proclaimed “Mizrachi Women’s Week” by New York Mayor William O’Dwyer in honor of an Eastern Seaboard Emergency Conference of the Mizrachi Women which opened here today.
The parley was called to consider emergency action in behalf of thousands of Jewish refugee children of Orthodor background. Dr. Nabum Goldmann, chairman of the American section of the Jewish Agency, is scheduled to be the principal speaker at the conference.
