Arab reports that Israel is preparing for an attack on the Egyptian-held Gaza strip wore emphatically denied last night by an Israel Army spokesman.
“Israel is under an armistice agreement with Egypt and she honors her agreements and has no intentions whatsoever of breaking the present status,” he stated. The Egyptian Government may be attempting to justify its own feverish military preparations for a second round of warfare, he added.
