Following strong Jewish protests against the decision of the court here to arrange a public showing of the anti-Semitic film “Jew Suess” during the trial of its producer Viet Harlan, which is now taking place here, the court today reversed its decision and announced that the film will be shown privately.

The reversal of the court’s plan is due also to the anti-Semitic courtroom demonstration last Friday against the witness, Karena Niehoff, who testified that Harland changed the original movie script to make it more anti-Jewish. Not only was she interrupted by members of the audience who shouted anti-Semitic threats, but the prosecutor–Dr. M. Kramer–was also threatened by the courtroom spectators.
