There is a good possibility that Israel will double the value of her exports to the United States this year, Harry A. Shadmon, director of the export division of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Chamber of Commerce, last night told a meeting of the Commerce and Industry Association here.

Israel’s exports to the United States in 1949 totalled $4,500,000, he stated. Emphasizing the many opportunities for profitable investment in Israel industry, Mr. Shadmon outlined the advantageous provisions of the latest Israel Government regulations aimed at attracting foreign capital investments.
