The Bavarian Government today ordered the Minister of Interior to introduce legislation necessary to prevent further cemetery desecrations and other anti-Semitic acts. Dr. Joseph Mueller, Justice Minister in the Bavarian Government, called on all government prosecutors to expedite the prosecution of all cases involving anti-Semitic incidents.

The Jewish cemetery in Wuerzburg, in the U.S. zone, was desecrated today by unknown vandals who pushed over three tombstones and defiled the graves with excrement. Police officials immediately posted a reward of 1,000 Deutschemarks for information leading to apprehension of the vandals.
