The commencement was dedicated to the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Rabbinical Assembly of America, which was held this week-end. To mark the occasion, seven past presidents of the Assembly received degrees of Doctor of Divinity, and seven other former presidents were awarded the Solomon Schechter Citation. Seventeen graudates were ordained, while 30 other students received various degrees and diplomas.
