A Jew who sought to change his name in a court in rosario from Moses Rabinovich to Mario Ravini was rebuked by the judge. The court pointed out that “it is an honor to carry the name of Moses, the great prophet of Israel.” The judge emphasized that the laws in Argentina permit a change when the original name causes inconvenionce to its bearer.
