The Synagogue Council of America joined with the Federal Council of Churches of Christ in America and the National Catholic Welfare Conference last night in a statement strongly denouncing Communist aggression in Korea as the “greatest menace to world peace.”

The joint statement by the three major faiths in the United States–the first such joint declaration on an international issue since the end of World War II–termed as “spurious” and deceptive the “Stockholm Appeal” for peace circulated by Communist and pro-Communist groups.
