Sigma Alpha Mu, Jerish college fraternity, today presented its special award for outstanding contribution to Jewish endeavor in the campus community to the University of Nebrasks at the conclusion of its annual convention here.

The fraternity cited Arthur Alport, of Syranuse University, for outstanding individual contribution and gave honorable mention to Philip Cohen of the University of Missouri. It also reaffirmed a clause in its constitution limiting membership to those “of the Jewish faith.” The group thus remains one of the few strictly Jewish social fraternities on the North American continent since the rest have removed such clauses and most have admitted non-Jews.
