The Australian Government is not definitely committed to the admission of German “volkedeutsche” immigrants to this country, Prime Minister Robert G. Menzies today told Parliament.

The Prime Minister, however, pointed out that Britain, Canada, New Zealand and the United States have already accepted immigrants from among the Germans. He added that all prospective German immigrants are screened by the Australian security authorities who are collaborating closely with American and British officials in the Western European area.
