An Israel-Jordan survey commission left for the Negev today to investigate the recent clash between Jewish and Arab units on a stretch of road leading to Eilath, Israel’s southernmost point.

The regular convoy of Israel vehicles permitted to proceed to Mt. Scopus by the Arab Legion — which controls a strategic section of the road leading to the sits of the Hebrew University and Hadassah Hospital — left for Mt. Scopus and returned here yesterday without incident.
