A pre-induction counselling program for 18 and 19-year-old Jewish youths destined to enter the armed forces will be instituted in 700 posts of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America, it was announced here today by the organization’s National Commander, Henry Albert.

Designed to provide the young men with “an orientation course that will aid individual adjustment to military services,” the program will employ volunteer J.W.V. counsellors familiar with regulations and procedures in the Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as in the separate branches of each service. Department of Defense and Selective Service representatives are also expected to participate.
