Eliezer Dekel, head of the Naval Department of Israel’s Defense Ministry, left for Ankara today. The purpose of his trip has not been announced. It is recalled that Col. Moshe Dayan, one of the commanders of Israel’s forces in the Arab-Israel war, recently visited Turkey and met with military and civilian leaders there.
