The American Friends of the Hebrew University today announced a Fellowship Award Contest for $2,000 in maintenance at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem for a ten-month academic year, tuition, and a round-trip fare from New York. Entries will consist of essays of no more than 2,500 words in length written on the subject of “The Hebrew University -A Challenge to Our Time.” The contest closes on April 15, 1951. It is sponsored by the Jacob Levy Foundation, and is open to anyone eligible for admission as a student at the Hebrew University.
