Israel Orchestra Plays for 3,000 U.S. Troops Wounded in Korea; Concert in Washington

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will make a special trip to Washington tomorrow to play for an audience of approximately 3,000 U.S. troops convalescing at Walter Read Hospital from wounds received in Korea.

Ambassador Abba Eban, military attaches and members of the Israel embassy will attend the concert. The event was arranged by the American Fund for Israel Institutions in cooperation with the Israel embassy. It will be presented under the auspices of the American Red Cross. Leonard Bernstein will conduct.
