“No nation can be compared to Israel as a good investment,” Dr. Israel Goldstein of New York, chairman of the World Confederation of general Zionists, told an audience of about 2,000 people at a celebration here last night marking the third anniversary of Israel’s independence.
The meeting, held at His Majesty’s Theatre, was arranged by the United Zionist Council of Canada. Dr. Goldstein, who was the principal speaker, predicted that “in 25 years Israel will have 4,000,000 people and will be a harbinger of peace and prosperity to the entire Middle East.”
