A total of 148 Hebrew day schools are new functioning in 49 cities, it was reported here today at the annual convention of the National Association of Hebrew Day Schools of the Torah Umesorah Orthodox organization. More than 250 delegates are attending the convention at which problems concerning all-day schools are being discussed.
