Israel Spent $10,000,000 on Communication Equipment; Half of This Sum Spent in U.S.

The Israel Government has spent about $10,000,000 on communication equipment and more than one-half of this sum was spent in the United States, Israel’s Postmaster General declared here today following his arrival on an El-Al plane. Mr. Prihar came for a two-week stay to check on equipment ordered here, part of which has already reached Israel. He will also discuss communication problems with cable companies maintaining communication services with Israel.
