The Emir of Cyronaica, who is the King-designate of Libya, recently met with Acting Chief Rabbi Hacmun of Tripoli during the Emir’s visit to that city, it was reported here from Tripoli today.
At a subsequent meeting the King-designate met with Max Vardi, representative of Israel in Tripoli. The Jewish community of the city plans to present the future King of the country with a silver inkstand and a gold picture frame as a souvenir of his visit to Tripoli.
